SACRIFICE TRANSFORMATION REVOLUTION

Caves were once heavily used as sites of veneration, transformation, ritual, and ceremonial magic. From the site where the Prophet Muhammed received revelations to Jesus Christ’s resurrection to ancestral worship and burial sites, caves are rife with metaphor, mystery, and magic.

Each sculpture operates as a stalagmite, a cave fixture, a tunnel system— a biological labyrinth. SACRIFICE was a collaboration with Summer Farrell, a Phoenix poet.
